Post 1285 by layoutguru2 on Thread Two showed an enlargement of that picture. It looked more like Venus to me, also. The 'object' on the top left hand side, I took to be the Sun. Compare;

There was no doubt to me about which body was the sun. Being a ham, I have done some studies into the sun because of the way the sun affects radio wave propagation here on Earth. I have seen those SOHO pictures of Sol plenty of times and know that it what is in the OBL/Mushroom Cloud picture. If that other body is indeed Venus, that maybe an interesting sign.
