Here's the list I found that corroborates with yours:
WWII Memorial Dedication, D.C. : May 29
G-8, Georgia: June 6-8
Titan Games (pre-Olympics), Georgia: June 18-20
Nato Summit, Istanbul: June 28-29
Democratic Convention, Boston: July 26-29
Olympics, Athens: August 13-29
Republican Convention, New York: August 30 - Sept. 2
Here's what I found for that time period:
June 8, 570 A.D. - Religion of Islam founded in Mecca.
June 8, 632 A.D. - Mohammed, prophet of Islam (Koran) dies, according to tradition.
June 9 - Holiday Moslem : Ashura (Muharram 10, 1416 AH)
June 10 - Holiday Islam : New Year's Day (Muharram 1, 1415 AH)
I hate it when important events and Muslim holidays overlap.
Earlier in the thread someone mentioned 6/11 as a date to watch as well. It's not any significant holiday or anything but they did hit twice on the 11th.
Between 7,000 and 10,000 veterans are expected to take part in the 40 events planned over 5 and 6 June.
The Normandy Veterans Association (NVA) yesterday heaped praise on the government after senior members had earlier criticised the organisation of the commemorations.
Ivor Caplin, the veterans minister, outlined the scale of the events to honour the Allied invasion in June 1944, which was the turning point in the Second World War.
The Queen, Tony Blair, the Prime Minister, George Bush, the US president, Jacques Chirac, the French president, and the Russian president, Vladimir Putin are expected to attend a ceremony at Arromanches to commemorate Operation Overlord. Gerhard Schröder, the German chancellor, will also attend the event....... Excerpted from this Article
Don't forget the 4th of July. Probably not a significant day for Muslims, but it would surely find a whole bunch of people in a whole bunch of places looking up at things that go "Boom". I don't know if anyone would notice an extra rocket that showered something down on the crowd or...well, anything really.
Not to mention 6/11 on that Friday.
That will be an interesting week to watch
Or because they have inside knowledge of what "may" occur at the Summit?
