So far isn't that just a rumor? I love Mr Cheney, so I would hate to see him go. Rudy Giuliani though may be the only thing W can do to pick up those crucial votes he needs. I'm not sure about this.

I was wondering if this has been discussed here:

"possible attacks to coincide with high profile events across America, including the November U.S. presidential election."

I was thinking last night that if AQ released a video a week before the election claiming they had suitcase nukes planted in the US, and if Bush got elected again they would set them off...

It wouldnt sway any one here, but could it sway enough sheeple to swing the election against Bush?

Their claim of having planted nukes would not even have to be true. Any thoughts?

I've heard the rumor, as well. No matter his position, Cheney will always be of value to the President and this nation.

If Cheney senses that he is a detriment to the re-election effort, he will be the first to suggest his own replacement. He has absolutely no ego, but also knows his importance in the overall scheme of things. He would be willing to work in the background, quietly, and never seek media attention or praise.

Guiliani could certainly pull some votes to our side.
