I live in Idaho, but I'm working near Wilsonville, AL this week. I'm trying a new gig as "mosquito cuisine". My co-worker insisted on working until well after sunset this evening on the coal cars. The steamy Alabama night included lots of mosquitos and a really delightful show of fireflies.
The town of Preston is about 70 miles south of my town.
Just heard on our news tonight that they found mosquitos with West Nile Virus here. They're out passing flyers around how to protect yourself.
As if I wasn't itching enough already from the Idaho story, the dog disease story and now mosquitos.
