Thank you.
will hug kitties and send one to you.
The scary thing about these computer crashes is that we don't always hear about them. Everytime there is a virus lots of these big company get's them. I had an artical about the Coast Guard will go back and find.
Here it is UK.
Coastguard chiefs failed to act on virus warning
BRIAN BRADY WESTMINSTER EDITOR
BRITAINS coastguard chiefs were warned to take action against a devastating computer virus more than two weeks before it paralysed their networks for six hours on one of the busiest weekend of the year.
The Home Office has confirmed that the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) was sent six separate alerts over the Sasser worm virus in the weeks before the bug struck networks around the world over the May bank holiday weekend.
The agencys bosses now face being hauled over the coals after ministers ordered an urgent inquiry into the failure, which also raises serious questions about the effectiveness of Britains preparations for a national emergency.

The liberal media would have reported this in a heartbeat had President Bush said any such thing. The difference here is that President Bush is PRESIDENTIAL. John Kerry is NOT.
Texas, didn't they have computer problems also a week or so ago?
Then there was an old article, in the last week that talked about OBL's family and the business connections.
Don't know where I read it.
but it said to me "Look they own the Electric, phone and computer world".
That is one lesson we have already learned. Regarding terrorist sightings in suspect locations with videotaping, camera and other "implements of the trade," along with prison releases, just think of our policies as similar to fishing rules: Catch and Release.
There is new stuff from Global Islamic Media at NEIN.
Am I the only one thinking ITS ABOUT TIME!!!!????
gotta see this;http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/post?id=1140994%2C10
I mean this.Converted to what, don't tell me, the Matrix Thread???? Oh, the horror.
Thanks for posting that DC. Kind of mind-boggling that agencies such as the UK Coast Guard, or airlines, wouldn't pay attention to computer viruses!!!
First airport problem was here......(reported to me by ATC center person as "What I found out from the watch supervisor was that there was some sort of system breakdown at Houston Center for a while causing their airspace to go into "ATC ZERO" mode. ATC ZERO is when they clear the airspace like they did during 9/11 only this was for just Houston Center's airspace.")
News report........
FAA computer problem: Houston, regional flight delays
(Houston-AP) -- Flights in parts of three states, including Louisiana, were delayed today due to a software problem with a Federal Aviation Administration computer in Houston.
The trouble at an F-A-A center stopped all flights leaving or arriving at airports across South Texas and parts of Louisiana and New Mexico for about one hour.
FAA spokesman Roland Herwig says some new software failed, so the agency went back to the old software.
Herwig says in the process, the system had to be shut down for just under half-an hour. Flights resumed by mid-morning.

Second one was in Denver....(reported to me by ATC center person as the LAN cable failed at Denver Approach_
News report....
Denver, CO, May. 20 (UPI) -- A mysterious and crippling radar failure at the Denver International Airport has been repaired, KUSA-TV, Denver, reported Thursday.
The malfunction shut down the airport for about an hour Wednesday evening, and some 15 flights were diverted to either the Fort Collins/Loveland or Colorado Springs airports.
They've probably relocated south of the Canadian border by now. Wait, if they played it right they could request the newly adopted Sharia law in Canada and be back on the street in another chemical laden truck the same day.
I think you are correct Granny. It was probably Dallas and I was thinking Denver.
Indie, wasn't there a problem at the Dallas/Ft.W. airport last week? My memory shuts down on Friday's and doesn't kick in again until Mondays :-)
Thanks! Don't know about that, but old and experienced by the years I am!
If that didn't make me so angry it would be funny. Guess I'll go recite my tagline.
Tee hee,
wellllllll, I dooooooooooooo
know about such personality things . . .
on that score, I can reasonably claim
'I'm an expert!'
True. But anyway, still: LOL.
Congrats on your efforts to save the baby kitties Granny. I know what an effort that can be. They are God's gift to us and sadly too many do not take care of them near as well as you do Granny!
