Don't forget the airlines, they are asking to release the stockpiles as well. I believe the same as you, do the opposite. Who stands to gain the most if we release the stockpiles, and we have a catastrophic event? The traitors who are calling for the release, would all stand to gain by our lack of reserves.

"What we see are branching structures very fungus like but so large, these fibers, these hyphae are so large that they can not be any of the known fungi."

Any indication it responds to topical antifungal meds?

Sicon...silicon...wa...Washington? This may be a stretch, but if you unscramble the word you can get "sonic WA" out of it.

This story reminds me of the 911 problems from a few weeks ago in NY and VA. I will be looking to see if this is one of those new "trends"..like empty suitcases...derailed trains, etc. And to think this type of city-wide police communication failure, while the 9/11 committee is discussing communication failures in NY.

Police Radios Fail (Philadelphia, PA)

PHILADELPHIA-May 20, 2004 — Officials say more than half of Philadelphia's police radio frequencies crashed when dispatchers used a command to speak to all officers at once.

Bob Eddis, the president of Philadelphia's lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, says the cops' "worst nightmare" occurred Tuesday night. The radio system, he says, "went completely dead."

The radios were out for between 20 and 40 minutes and experienced glitches for another two hours. Eddis had been reserved in his criticism of the police administration until yesterda

y, but he said angrily that there was no viable backup. Deputy Police Commissioner Charles Brennan, who is in charge of police radio, says the breakdown began because police cars from all over the city were dispatched to the Germantown neighborhood, where an officer had been attacked.

In order to talk to all officers in the city, police dispatchers used a special command, Brennan says, but invoking that command caused a series of glitches that prevented officers from speaking to dispatchers and vice versa. Brennan says officials still don't know why it happened Link to Article

I'd need to see the Arabic, but I assume that Ajeeb transliterated this phonetically. It should sound like "sekun wa" - two words. If that what it is, the entire passage makes more sense. To do a translation that makes sense though I need to see the Arabic.

OK that is MY spelling.

You can also spell is "sakoon" - that would be more phonetically correct!

Just got on, freeperfromnj.

I guess it's sensitive information, but here goes, anyway:

Any heads up we can get may help.

I'm in CT- mom needed surgery yesterday. She is 81- and doing well!

My son called from Gettysburg area- the GWEN tower had returned back to normal (white strobe light)

Last night (5/19), the light was back to flashing red.

Would a test be conducted so soon? I don't think so. I think they tested it last week to make sure it worked, and turned it on yesterday as a backup communication system in case the milstar/gps based systems fail.

Other information- there are some 40 stolen semis. The truckers are being told to watch for sabotage- if they are carrying hazardous materials- to try to signal to another truck driver to pull ahead of them if they sense danger. The plan calls for a truck hauling something innocuous like veggies to pull in front, protecting the hazmat truck.

If no other truck is available, the driver is to ram the car attempting the sabotage- even if the drivers are females with children.

I have alot more information to report. Including observing a "cooler" being removed from the sidewalk in front of a nice highrise in Philly- Center City- by fire department personnel. No fire alarm and no evacuation of the building. other vehicles present at the scene- including one never seen before- like a very low, cement colored vehicle, with a series of small square windows along the sides-

I hope I have gone totally over the edge. Please pass the valium and I'll add a cold beer.

God help us all. I do believe- if you can- get OUT of the target cities if at all possible.

You know as much as I do DC. Someone on another board said she treated her daughter with olive oil and these fibers, lots of them, began to come out of her back.

Also- I do think, Philly is the first city to be hit- after London.

Reasons- very numerous- including location, symbolic value, departure of Muslims, statements on the jihadi boards that the "Liberty Bell will melt"....and more.
