The Berg Family's Court Filing Against Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld

After his son was killed at Columbine high school, Tom Mauser started using the body of his dead son as a political weapon. Berg is doing the same thing.
I've said it before, I'll say it again, Mike Berg's terror sympathizing ties probably came back to lead to his son's death.
How many ANSWER members do you have to talk to about your Jewish son doing freelance, lonely, work in Iraq before it gets to the Islamists back there???
I think's he's off his rocker because he may well be to blame in very immediate sense for what happened...
The rest of us deserve much better.
They remind me of that atheist Newdow. They're just as kooky.
problem solving 101 look for someone to blame. If you are a coward blame the president, not the guys with the big knives.
"This is so wrong ,it is ashame. His son just got laid to rest and he's already filing a lawsuit.Well ,I guess grieving time is over.I hope after this suit is thrown out Rumsfeld sues him !!"
Sadly, this is not a new practice. Do you notice everytime a football player suddenly dies, the "grieving family" files a lawsuit? (Rashidi Wheeler et. al.)
I was in Barnes & Liberal last night, to pick up Bill Sammon's new book "Misunderestimated"...there appeared to be a book titled "The Hate Bush Reader" or something like that. All I remember is that the words "Hate Bush" were prominently in the title and on the cover.
I choose to not "misunderestimate" our President. If, as has been said, he is determined not to repeat the mistakes of his father's re-election campaign, I have to believe that there is a reason that the campaign is not yet going full bore after FJK. In fact, it almost seems like a "drip drip drip" of their own, similar to what the LeftCast Media is trying to do to the President.
Personally, I don't know what is going to happen. I do know that we must and will prevail. Godspeed, Semper Fi, and Ever Forward to our President, his staff, and our awesome Armed Forces.
Since they are over their grieving period, they should look at the video again and notice that 11 hours elapsed from the time Nick was shoved to the floor, to the moment the gruesome act occured, the guy with the knife initally was at the beginning of the "edit", camera pans up, and the guy now has a white towel on.
This says a lot about where Mr.Berg's allegiance lies, and its not with the U.S.
Cowards never blame the criminal; you are soooo right.
I always thought most anti-war activists were just plain cowards hiding behind flowery rhetoric.
The easiest way out is to say you are a "pacifist".
No convictions.
The problem is akin to the abused woman syndrome where
she feels safer protecting the abuser and the abuse than
standing against the great evil.
Mr. Berg is a loser. He lost my sympathy when I read about his anti-American activities. But this sorry man will be allowed to prosper and live off the backs of the truly brave
Americans who fight for libery.
. Berg is a loser.
My husband and two sons have spent their careers in the military defending your right to speak freely. So go somewhere else and spew your filth. We are not amused.
Um Cate, I hate to say this, but if your family has been defending people's rights to free speech, then you shouldn't be so upset when people actually use it. Why should this grieving man have to go to another country to say what he wants? Like it or not, you just said your family has been defending his right to speak freely. So now why do you in the very next sentence contradict yourself and try to take that right away from him?
Being unable to deal with his own guilt regarding his son's death, he needs to attack someone to hide from it. The louder he shouts, the more he is trying to convince himself. How sad.
Hi Dave! I can understand what you are saying. I live less than 2 miles from Columbine and am intimate with the situation here. This does NOT make me an expert, but with MAUSER, I can understand his EMOTIONAL reaction. THAT seems normal to me, presuming his politics before he lost his son - or maybe even NOT presuming his politics.
However, BERG's dad was seen on "Masochist-Sadist NBC" planting a "WAR DOES NOT SOLVE ANYTHING" sign post on his lawn. (We ALL know what war HAS solved!)
This Berg guy is a "true-believer" obviously. Terrorists could knock on his front door and kill his wife and remaining family and he would STILL honestly blame Bush. Unlike Mauser, I think Berg sincerely has the "sickness" of the "true-believer" libs. Prior to Berg, I always believed the screaming Libs would change their tune after a terrorist WMD attack on one of our cities (well, MOST of them would!).
Mr. Berg is truly a case study which frightens and disappoints me. I think Mauser has more intellectual integrity.
Berg's father is p*ssing on his son's grave. His reaction -- blaming Bush -- couldn't be more what his killers wanted if they had directed him.
Let me be explicit: this rewards the terrorists. Doubtless, the father's ill-considered comments are being trumpeted by Al-Jazeera and it's European sisters, the BBC and Le Monde.
As did the Spanish electorate's shift to a more friendly candidate subsequent to a bombing, this will encourage more terrorism. It sends the message that if you kill enough of us -- targeting innocents specifically -- and do so in a grisly enough manner, we will quit.
At Iwo Jima, about 13,000 Marines were wounded and 7,000 killed. There were no fathers blaming the ailing FDR.
Does America have the belly to defend freedom anymore? To surrender Iraq now would be a great victory for tyranny.
Rachel Corey's parents are active media darlings of the far left in their support of terrorists against the U.S. Is there a pattern here?
The Berg family should take a long hard look in the mirror.
Dan Rather, then the mirror.
"Liberal government haters never stop hating. They always blame the government. They are alway victims, too."
The part that boggels my mind is the very people that hate the government the most demand that it be larger and more intrusive.
best regards
the dozer
Have you forgotten that the elder Berg stated in a front yard interview with the tv cameras rolling that his son (Nick) was the best friend the terrorists had? Remember that one? I've got my doubts about that kid and his Iraqi brother-in-law...
