Are you kidding? Often times several Islamic groups will try to take credit for one killing! To be credited for the murder of an American Jew, would be quite an honor for the Islamists and they would not be inclined to deny it!

No, the real tragedy here is that barbaric subhumans murdered a man in cold blood.

My father was a Marine, he served in Korea.

I know you are very proud of him, as am I. Those guys got no respect or recognition, except from their families and fellow 'Chosin few' veterans.

The elder Berg said in an interview that his kid was riding the bus one day when a guy sat down next to him and asked if he could use his computer. Being the genial fellow that he was, the kid said yes. It "just happened" that the guy sitting next to the younger Berg was Moussaoui. And the kid just happened to give him his email address and password.

Of course it's plausible that any one of us would hand over our laptop to a total stranger and spill our email account info and password to him, isn't it? Maybe he read a few of Zack's emails...

There is no such thing as a coincidence when you're talking about this incident.

A few more questions. How did he manage to get his repair gear around? How did he get around? He didn't want to travel the RPG highway because it was too dangerous, but he thought nothing of traveling by himself in a war zone? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but it was said, perhaps in print, perhaps on the radio, that his name was also used in the A.N.S.W.E.R. propaganda. Who said he was "pro war"? His father? The same man who said the son died because of the sins of Bush and Rumsfeld? Anything Michael Berg says should be disregarded as aging hippie, anti-war, anti-government drivel.

The story seemed odd within minutes of its airing. It will continue to do so until the truth comes out, if it ever does.

Since the father is so anti-American, and had a sister married to an Iraqi, maybe the son was of the same notions.
More needs to be checked into. Maybe his connection to the other Arab terrorist was not so co-incidental. This all just does not add up.

Turkey has a beautiful coast, and it is a relatively inexpensive country. Lots of internationals go there for a taste of "safe" orientalism.

Philly.com ping!!! You weren't posting there again, were you? If Limbacher had said that Berg was carrying around an equine cookbook and not the Koran, then I would know for sure...and how has Big Fat Andy been doing since his release last week? Has he been able to put some weight back on?

The old man gave it away with the friends comment. I suspect the Islamokazis feared Berg blew their cover while he was in prison and that may be why they killed him.

I loathe that he was murdered and beheaded. But it is sounding more and more like Nick Berg and his father are Al Qaeda sympathizers who sold their out their country (and father Berg his son) for the anti-war, anti-Bush group ANSWER.
If Nick & Dad are Al Qaeda sympathizers who sold out their country for the anti-war traitors... and I emphasize if that's true... then I'm sorry (very sorry, really) but I have a hard time working up much emotion... other than something along the lines of: they're going to slaughter somebody (that's what they do) so better a Useful Idiot than a real person... (sorry)

We don't know what he was wearing when his body was discovered. The photo that is going around purporting to be Berg's body on the bridge is from the initial phase of the war in 2003.

Maybe that's why the media chose to give such little coverage... hmmmm...

*IF* there is a Berg - AQ connection, all rage I had that they did this to an American will turn to rage against some of my fellow Americans.

I haven't seen the video, but I have heard that when they held up his head, the eyes were wide open. Would a person already dead when decapitatd still have wide open eyes?

Queeran and anti-semitic books..

The books were 'cover' in case he was caught by islamo-facists so that they wouldn't cut his head off.
