That's why they picked Buchanan instead of algore during the 2000 election in Florida.

Why are some believers such wackos?
So no matter what, no matter how peaceful or anything, any alien that possibly reveals itself to us will be a fallen angel?
That means, in any situation, your response will be violent, I imagine.

UFO's and aliens from outer space is the only way to explain how Jack-In-The-Box is able to sell two tacos for 99 cents. So in my mind they are very real.

UFOs are fake No more fake than the identity of some goof who joins FreeRepublic only this morning, makes up a really stewpid screen name and then, as his first post, alerts us all to the dangers presented by UFOs.

I am just stating my beliefs. You should not be fearful. I have no intention of commiting any violent acts.
If a alien were to appear my act would be one of prayer. I am a bible believer and I believe Christ will return soon. I also believe that satan will try to decieve the people left after the rapture and that ET will be a tool.

Talk about colossal knee-jerks, r_f. I have been around FR for a while now, and I think it is safe to say that I am a conservative. No troll, not a sleeper, just a conservative guy in a liberal infested world.
And I think UFO's are worth consideration, whatever they may be. The Mexico footage is very intriguing, the formation of lights move, they go behind clouds, seem to be physical. I don't claim to know what the movie shows, but I do know that it's not the cabo-wabo worm.
The knee jerking of most people on this subject, especially my fellow conservatives, is maddening.
Ironic that the personal focal of your fanaticism had the courage to confront the issue, on the world stage no less.
In September, 1987, in a speech before the entire UN General Assembly, Reagan said, "Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize the common bond that unites all humanity. How quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world."
If Ronaldus Magnus can look this in the eye, I think that speaks volumes.

Is it'Quandry' or 'Qaundry'? There are profile pages for both. I'm so confused.
And yes, UFOs are real. If an object is flying and it is unidentified...it is a very real UFO. Aliens from outerspace however...no comment.

I can believe in UFO's no problem. However I can't believe Mexico has an Air Force.

And I think UFO's are worth consideration, whatever they may be.
It would seem to me with all the sightings we've had over the last 50-60 years, there would be some kind of irrefutable proof to show, yet we have nothing but fuzzy images or shaky videotapes as our only evidence.
Personally, I do believe there is something more to this than just 'swamp gas' or 'weather balloons'. Like many others, I will patiently wait for undeniable proof of their existence.

With Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea, terrorism, Clinton, Kerry, strange weather, earthquakes, train wrecks, chemical plants blowing up, POW problems, evacuations, heads getting cut off, etc.
Aliens (U F O'S ) are real ??
At this point I really don't give a damn.

About 1975, I was an ATC at Chicago ARTCC & had a pilot go through a 15-20 minute encounter. My assistant controller and I met at pilot's house one evening with an investigator from the Center for UFO Studies. Spent about three hours, with the audio tapes, and came away absolutely convinced that this guy had seen something that cannot be explained away as 'swamp gas' or other frivolous put-downs.
