I responded to being called mis-guided because I didn't homeschool, by Straight Vermonter. The artcle is a silly as that accusation.

Since you agree withe the article (as you said earlier), then should I assume that you would teach your kid(s) that Homeschoolers are like terrorists?

As I said before, you took my agreement out of context. Of course not, homeschools parents chose differently, that's all.

And who here would you say is not "open-minded"?

Any one who believes their way is the only way. There seems to be a lot of disgust for anyone who would still choose public education.

I understand your point.IMO, parents should have many choices with regards to where,how or when our children learn and receive their education. I do know great kids who attend public schools and private schools. I know great kids who are homeschooled.

I, personally, am not against parents who choose to send their children to public or private schools.

I am sickened by this article- and what it means for parent's choice movement.

I don't agree that parents who send their children to public schools love their children any less than I love my children.

We all do the best we can... But I take offense at an article written to dehumanize homeschoolers.
