Give him a big hug today.
To: maica
They will all say that Bush's policy brought this on.
To: maica
"I'm very sorry that he died, and I wonder if his tale will open a few eyes of the pacifists."Nah. That would blow their fantasies. Instead, they'll be the shrillest voices demanding Rummy, Wolfie and W heads.

I don't think I'm being Pollyanna Optimist here when I predict that this prison abuse story has already been figured out by the American people.
People don't blame Bush, they don't blame Rumsfeld, and when the democrats continue to try and push that false premise, people understand what democrats are doing. People will hate democrats for doing this, even democrats will cringe in embarrassment.

"agreed - and I hope I don't have to read the word MOAB or Nuke here."Well, one can dream. Dreams are free.

I just came back in and saw this horrific news. May the media all rot in hell.

What I was cursing is that this gives the anti-war protestors even MORE of a reason to demand an end to the war.
It's hard to think and post clearly while I'm at work.

I know exactly what you mean. :-(

"What I was cursing is that this gives the anti-war protestors even MORE of a reason to demand an end to the war."Sadly, you're 100% correct about that. They absolutely, definitely will. They can't change their patterns of behavior.

That is exactly what General Myers said he told CBS when he asked them to delay the airing. No power and ratings has cost at least one life.
The American Partisan Press has blood on its hands.
To: YaYa123
You know, it occurs to me that IF there is video of torture or a homicide in one of those prisons in Iraq, committed by an American soldier, the media will show that.
And although I don't want to watch a video of a beheading and would be sick if they, it seems hypocritical in the extreme by the media.

oh and by the way, where's the outrage from the muslims?Don't hold your breath waiting for an apolgy. That said, we cannot turn into what they are, and have always been. If we are attacked again, the libs will blame President Bush, we are fighting two enemies, and our founding fathers are spinning in their graves.

I am so mad I am shaking. I'm going to see what if anything I can find about Nick Berg. His town is right down the street from me.

I mean that whether or not Berg was an anti-war protester, it should have no effect on our outrage over his death. Not accusing you of anything, I should have made my post to everyone. Sorry.
