My guess: Rumsfeld has already handed in his resignation. Bush is holding it - waiting to make the decision to accpet, or not.

NO WAY, President Bush said in public that Rumsfeld will remain in his cabinet. You can bet your sweet bippy that President Bush will not turn his back on Rummy. If Rumsfeld resigns, it will not be at GWB's request

Rumsfeld is staying - at least - through the election, but I fear that he may be out in a second term. :(

Rumsfeld has already handed in Of course he has. But anybody that blames this on the Admin is looking in the wrong direction. This goes to the root of our culture. America has no moral authority. It's gone. Serve us right if Dubya did not want to run the Admin the next four years and refused to run for re-election.

Keep lurking because Rumsfeld is not going anywhere. He knows what is out there and there is probably going to be an investigation into who at the pentagon leaked the pictures from a classified investigation to Hillary.

I sure hope Rummy isn't resigning over this. The timing would be crappy. I trust President Bush to make the right choice on this.
