That was my first question. "Israeli" means someone who has citizenship in Israel, and I've heard the different population segments mentions -- x number of Jewish Israelis, x number of Arabs, x number of Christians, all making up the total number of Israelis.

Actually, it's very difficult to acquire an Israeli passport. As you are probably aware, security is pretty tight there.
