I'm suspicious that these were actually Tennessee cops. There is no mention of a dog being shot during the vehicle stop.

Clue me in, I'm not from around those parts. Do Tenn. cops have something against dogs? If the NYPD ever shoots something-actually quite rare, despite the rep. they carry-it's usually a lunatic from Crown Heights wielding a hammer or a mentally deranged homeless woman whose case is thereafter taken up by the ACLU.

There is no mention of a dog being shot during the vehicle stop. You must have Tennesse confused with Alabama. The way cops shoot dogs down here one would think there is a hunting season on dogs.
