Why arent Christians inundating the news services with demands to get to the bottom of these stories? The author presumes the liberal press is going to respond to Christians. A little naive.
The world is evil, and always will be until Christ comes.

This is a subject close to my heart. The question is what, in the realm of the possible, can we do about it?

"Passion for Christians in America is discussing, in dulcet tones, whether or not the pastors of Protestant churches should commit buggery and marry others that do - like theyre really man and wife."
That's only because others are shoving their more common buggery under the rug. And those aren't Protestants, BTW. They are quite anti-Protestant while pretending to be Protestant. The main point of Protestantism is for each believer to follow the scripture as closely as possible. The scripture is clearly against homosexual acts.

The Passionless mainline Christian Churches are responsible for the lack of passionate belief in the message of Jesus Christ. Every day I hear people talk about searching for a church that involves them and excites them rather than depletes the vitality of Jesus Christ's message.
Any suggestions?

Where is the news attention and the CAIR condemnation of these stories? There is no reason for the CAIR to condemn the killing of infidels. Cold hard fact.
Most of the news media are liberals and therefore exempt from thinking this religious war won't come to their front door and if it does, little do they realize that the pleads of being an atheist doesn't cut the mustard for a Islamics fascist:
Atheist and Christians are the same: Infidels, worthy of death

These guys are great. There are churches all over the world. The web site gives a good explanation on who they are and where they are.

Either there is too little passion or too much prejudice.Or people think that it's just more violence from a violent place, just more of the tragedy of Africa.
Or, they believe that it is what Christians need to endure and there is no help for it.
Or it's so far away it doesn't seem real.
Outrage never leads to clear thinking.

One of the things I want to do when I finally get my MBA and become a millionaire (yeah, right!) is to fund a hi-tech lobbying organization to provide a voice for the ill-treated Christians 'round the world.

It never bother when deaths are of Philliopino Catholics, Lebanese Catholic, Egypt Orthodox, Palistine Orthodox, Serb Orthodox, Makedonian Orthodox, Cypriot Orthodox, Pakistani Agnlicans, etc, why care about Africans? After all, West is soooo holy in liberalism, Christianity is just fad of past cave ages for them.

An American Orthodox Church apart from the ethnic churches from the Old World?

My family (and I) is Greek Orthodox and my ancestors have been GO for ages.
Unfortunately, I see political liberalism, a distinct avoidance of the great moral issues of the day, and an overemphasis on ethnicity rather than on morality (at least in the GOC). I do not know if it is any different in the Russian church but my guess is that it is the same.
I will never forget the Paatriarch being welcomed by the tyrant Castro in Cuba earlier this year. I cannot forgive the GOA honoring senators like Sarbanes who voted against banning partial birth abortion!
It pains me to see this political correctness infecting the church because the Orthodox Church has suffered so much in the last 2000 years - from pagans, Aryans, Muslims, communists, etc.
