but the pictures should not have been posted during the worst month of fighting, endangering the honorable troops. MEG33 imho the worst month of fighting stemmed from the acctual abuse of the Iraqi detainees. The horrible killing of the Blackwater contractors stemmed from the abuse of the Iraqi detainees combined with the instigation of terrorist in the midst.

(Just because you did not see it or read it, that does not mean it did or did not happen.)

Go to the post I just put up called "Clinton Era Atrocities (no hearings, no media)"
It's long, but worth it.
In the 90's and 2000, US contractors took part in a prostitution ring, white slavery with underage girls. There was even a videotape of an apparent Rape.
Hillary, CBS and the gang never told us about it. The partisand in Congress never leveled with the American people and had a hearing.
This is shocking.

Very interesting concept. The Iraqis have been brutal and trying to kill us before ,but I can see this as a contributory factor, not the whole reason.
Al Sadr's bunch was incensed at several moves against them. They are just thugs ,intimidating the towns they are in,taking over.
I deplore this lack of military discipline and breakdown in command and control.

If you've read any of the Iraqi blogs you'd know that Fallujah has always been a problem area. Even Saddam couldn't control it. The "abuse" is considered a joke in Iraq. It was mild compared to what went on in Saddam's day. As foul as it was to us, it was nothing compared to what Uday did every day.

(If Kerry can't deal with the "Republican Attack Machine" how is he going to deal with Al Qaeda)
