We're going to have to find out if she met with BG Karpinski while she was over there.

Indeed.
Good thinking!

I don't see it either. I don't yet buy the Military intellegence, CIA angle in all this. I am inclining toward extracurricular fun and games for some really bad apples.

Forgive me madam, I am humbled in your presence. ;-

My experiment failed...I see, overall (not counting you and Texasforever and a few others) this is still a waste of time.

I felt a little intellecutal tonight. Thanks to both of you for stimulating my thoughts. As for the rest, the same as always - total illogical garbage with responses based on emotion and post more than subject.

Many regards as I find other things to do. P.S. Things are really going well in the new job...I'm updating all my old stuff and going over the balance sheets and reconciling the laziness of others. I'm already implementing my rules and procedures and they are more efficient and productive.

But that's not surprising.

I know you said he could lose his pension, but I want

No his pension is the reason he is subject to Military Justice. He could lose a lot more than that pension.

Women have a place in battle, like in the air as pilots and anywhere where they are not likely to be captured.

The woman in those pictures hit almost every stereotype imaginable based on an article I read in the California Orange County Register.

She was a belligerent tomboy who lived in a trailer park with her mom. Went into the armed forces, carried this out and is now pregnant.

If not for the real possible torture, this would have Springer all over this for a show.

Sort of blows that carefully crafted myth of him being the "soldiers...soldier" doesn't it? Hack is a hack.

He's worse than that if this article is true.
Besides being a GDSOB, he's done grave damage
to our country, to POTUS, to Rummy, but particularly
to every soldier. Sacrificial lambs to him.

Most of those "defiant soldiers" only joined for the money.

It's good to know that I'm not the only person that thinks that. Every time I hear a "soldier's family" say "he/she just wanted to get a college education"...I want to scream!

If your kid desires a college education, and you want to keep them "out of harms way"...pay for it yourself! The Military is not a Pell Grant; nor is it a part-time job. If you need a second job, and are not interested in actually fighting a war, get a job at the mall.

Did they think they would be helping little old ladies cross the street?

I think that ALL of us want exactly THAT!

If what Rummy said today is any indication of things to come,we just might be in for some interesting times.

"One has to wonder why the military didn't check these people's priors, before they assigned them to this detail and/or into the service."

Not every crime is reported. Plus not all mental cases show obvious signs.

Yes,it appears that there are some sickos and perverts in this crowd and that girl is one of them.Subtract her from the picture and who knows if this would have raised nearly as much faux ire.

Faux ire among Muslims? I frankly don't care.

OK.
NOW I understand.
Good.
Then the Military "can" prosecute him.
Perfect.

I don't want him to loose his retirement check.

In the perfect world, I'd rather see him recalled to active duty, busted down to E-1, the retired again.

I'd rather enjoy him knowing that from that day forward he would be entitled to refer to himself as PRIVATE HACKworthless.

Typical response from a troll. You have no idea and no intelligence and no tolerance for anything but YOUR opinion. So why do you bother to even post in a debate forum?

I've never been to DU but I know the shallow crap they post and your last one is exactly what they like to post. I'm glad you are a happy sheep member that can't debate but instead attack and are willing to walk over a cliff as long as the one in front of you did the same.

Talk about vile. If you can't take opinion that contradicts yours while you offer no defense other than personal attack, don't whine to me. And you have the audacity to talk about American values?

What a joke.

House

Senate

In the House hearings Representative Weldon requested that Rummy "look into a platoon leader that evidently was aware of these actions and a commander who has been transferred, but I understand not yet reprimanded or had charges brought, who is a staff member to a sitting member of Congress , to see whether or not there was any special treatment granted."

Hmmmmm....

She was in Iraq just after Thanksgiving. Remember, she spent TG day in Afghanistan and then went to Iraq AFTER President Bush's big surprise. She was in Baghdad and did a little traveling around. I wonder if she met with Karpinski (the woman general)
