I don't want him to loose his retirement check.
In the perfect world, I'd rather see him recalled to active duty, busted down to E-1, the retired again.
I'd rather enjoy him knowing that from that day forward he would be entitled to refer to himself as PRIVATE HACKworthless.

No his pension is the reason he is subject to Military Justice. He could lose a lot more than that pension. Eh, there are members of the armed forces who are retired but have yet to draw their pension, but are still subject to the UCMJ.
