ARBALA, Iraq, May 7 American soldiers battled insurgents led by a rebel Shiite cleric on Friday, killing scores of Iraqis, as the cleric delivered a defiant, derisive sermon that dismissed President Bush's expressions of regret for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners.
"What kind of peace could come from you or your agents when you feel pleasure at torturing prisoners?" the 31-year-old cleric, Moktada al-Sadr, said to cheering supporters at his mosque in Kufa. "How are you going to control the world when you can't control...

"Take no prisoners anymore--kill everyone."
I recall seeing a WWII documentary and a couple of old marines were talking about the islands and how they didn't take any prisoners. White flag of surrender or whatever - they shot them. They didn't seem apologetic or gave a reason either as I recall. It was just the way it was.

"We don't support either side," said Ahmed Abbas, 24, a grocery store owner. "We don't want the Americans to kill the members of the Mahdi Army, but we also don't want the Mahdi Army to win."
Well, while you make up your pointless mind...

They gave my dad orders at Okinawa 1945; Kill all japs take no prisoners , see you in a few months
On some days the suicide charges would reap hundreds of unarmed japs
War is terrible
Thank You Troops

USA is doing a very poor job in controling the 31-year-old cleric, Moktada al-Sadr. It looks like he is in control.

TAKE NO PRISONERS is indeed a good idea.
1- No sixty minutes material
2- No Rummy bashing by Kennedy,Hillary,Byrd and Co
3- No need for more troops to guard them.
4- Great boost to the fear factor i.e: Would you rather be naked or dead?
5- No repeat offenders.
6- War is hell message reinforcement....the list goes on.
Why didn't we think of that earlier ...

Moktada al-Sadr. It looks like he is in control...
A few weeks ago, he was leading "an uprising in ALL of Iraq" according to the media... now is holed up in a Mosque running is mouth off because his army is getting their ass handed to them...Control of what?

In fact, I'm not too sure some in the upper ranks of the military don't see this gotcha period as a good time to take out as many Islamo-facsists in Iraq as possible.
Our soldiers could probably knock off a few thousand Iraqi insurgants right about now, and CNNCBSNBCetc would not even notice because they are in orgasmic mode thinking they are taking down President Bush.

"The only good Islamo-fascist is a dead Islamo-fascist." That is, better dead than imprisoned, fed and posing for porn pictures... At least that is my feeling on the matter.
To me those pictures were a good source of proof that those prisoners were well fed and no marks of torture on them...
Before: "OK, now that the body-search and inspection is over, let's all pose for a photo to show the world that you are well-fed, no cuts, burns or bruises to prove that you have not been toortured or mistreated..."
But now it's: "prisoners? we don't take no steeeeeenkeeeen prisoners"..."we just kill them all with dignity and finality and let Allah sort them out and give them the virgins".

"How are you going to control the world when you can't control a few soldiers here and there?" You don't understand. We DON'T want to control the world. We just want the world to leave us the f*** alone. We want to trade with the world, sure. It's a part of capitalism. You buy our stuff, we buy your stuff and we all get rich together. But don't try to move here, don't try to kill us, don't try to convert us. Just stay in Shitistan or Assholia or where ever you are. We don't care what you do one way or another as long as you don't mess with us. Got it? Oh, by the way, we consider building nukes, stockpiling chemical weapons, or any other weapons that you plan on using on us in the future to be "messing with us." We won't sit back and let you get away with that either (Iran, this means you).
Well put!!! Deserves repeating!!!

A friend and fellow Freeper has suggested that we circle Meccah (and maybe Medina and a few other of their "holy sites") and issue an ultimatum: the terrorist crap ends post-haste, or we nuke. They must control their own, or we destroy what is precious to them. Leave it up to them to get their crazies under control.
The first time an Islamo-fascist terrorist does something, we blow up Medina. It would be far cheaper and easier I think than the pussy-footing around we've been doing for decades, or even what we are doing now. It'll never happen as no American leader has that kind of intestinal fortitude.
