And I might add, as bonifide female republican mom living in Indiana, that I find Rummy to be absolutely courageous, possibly the most brilliant man I have ever listened to, a man who is so tuned into the goal at hand that he does not have time to hedge, mince words or smooze up to some nasty little reporter. Rummy doesn't 'need' to be liked, which is WHY he is so respected in this corner of the world.
President Bush made an excellent choice in Rummy, in fact, he made an excellent choice in ALL of his cabinet, and UNLIKE klinton, he meets with his cabinet and USES their advice! A good leader chooses those skilled in their areas of work. Unlike klinton, who chose people he could manipulate and order around....most definitely stupid and of course, willing to CY klinton's A at a moments notice.
Besides...Rummy is so dang sexy! I mean...heart poundingly so. He is man's man, but then, so are most conservatives. Think it has to do with having a core belief system and not worrying about the rest!!!
