Big deal--she compared this to MY Lai. I am so sick of this. She is no friend of the military. Another lady who shouldn't have ever been allowed in the army. Raising the specter of Vietnam is just so unhelpful. This is really tragic and disgraceful.

Not making excuses for what she said, just that she served in the military and knows from her experience this could not ever have happened where she served, at least not with "photos"! Now what gives this its most vulgar aspect is the fact that "photos" were taken in an party like atmosphere and there is no way typical military command would tolerate such.

The fact that no one is the least bit concerned or questioning how it was that so many photos were taken as well as "video" of what was going on is what makes the whole affair suspect.

Now who ever took the photos and then sent them to the media, knew darn well what they were doing....

That old saying a picture is worth a thousand words.
