You may not remember, but some of the Oregon 7 got some light hits re sentencing.
At that time many Freepers said they probably got light sentences for rolling over on others.
Apparently this Portland Jihad Johnny was involved during the trials of the Portland/Oregon 7. He probably made some pro Islamo statements to some of the Portland 7. So one of them rolled over and pinned the tail on him.

Wasn't there an attorney for a '93 WTC suspect who was arrested for doing the same thing? Am I remembering correctly?
