Oregon Man Arrested in Spain Bombings Probe

WASHINGTON  — FBI agents arrested a Portland, Ore., man Thursday as part of the investigation into the deadly train bombings in Spain, federal officials said.

Brandon Bieri Mayfield, a U.S. citizen, was taken into custody on a material witness warrant, said a senior law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity. The arrest, first reported in Newsweek, is the first known in the United States with connections to the March 11 bombings in Madrid.

The FBI also searched his home, which he shares with his wife, the official said.

At that time many Freepers said they probably got light sentences for rolling over on others.

Apparently this Portland Jihad Johnny was involved during the trials of the Portland/Oregon 7. He probably made some pro Islamo statements to some of the Portland 7. So one of them rolled over and pinned the tail on him.

If he hadn't committed a crime where they had the evidence to put him in the slammer, they could do nothing but watch him.

Remember he is a left wing lawyer. If you arrest him without solid evidence and several witnesses, you blow the case.

PDX is only similar in the sense that it shares a similar type of fringe Left moonbat mentality. I mean, McDermott could very well be an Oregon Congressman. But, Seattle has a bit more intellectual diversity and overall maturity... much more likely a target.

So this lawyer... this Butcher... was one of the lackies screaming about the 'unfairness' of the treatment of his clients the PDX AQ-7... one of the scum, trying to portray Ashcroft as a fascist tyrant... and the Patriot Act as hitlerian doctrine.
