William Penn said, "Men must choose to be governed by God or condemn themselves to be ruled by tyrants." And when asked what caused the Civil War, President Lincoln said, "We have forgotten God."

I agree with you. We must never forget the moral impact of our behavior. This is why I am hoping that the power of the information age will promote moral causes and bring forth freedom around the world. It my conviction that that freedom should come from God--not men.

In these days we have not only forgotten God, we are by our new standards of government and culture rejecting him as the acknowledged creator and as the endower of our rights. As a result, we are suffering cultural decay and human unhappiness. The decline of the institution of the family is the most obvious result. The other is when men call for more governmental power over their lives. Such governmental power has little patience for non-compliant entities and, like William Penn predicted, acts with tyranny. Joe Stalin showed us how little patience he had with noncompliance. Marxist socialism is being promoted by the left to help them eject the Judeo-Christian culture that has served generations very well. Why they are doing it is a question I cannot explain. It was that culture, you should know, that put a halt to the the slavery of blacks in America. The left does not realize that it is promoting its own slavery.

When multinational corporations abuse workers, put out shoddy products, and gouge consumers, let the information age expose them under the light of truth. Corporations are at the mercy of their stockholders who do not fair well with bad publicity. We should be promoting watchdogs to expose those who act recklessly.

I was trying to be humorous Todd. As a Tennesean I'm a might sensitive to references to excluding anyone on their merits if they have contributive talents and are willing to earn their right to citizenship. My pigishness extends to stopping the useless and inbred, the traitorous and huddled in cramped apartment masses who yearn for the rest of us to learn Spanish and ignore their littering and rowdiness.

Never mind. I talked my way out of defending them.

Well believe it or not, there is a frightening action figure on the market that will make them run. Can you believe these are manufactured in Spain?

Those little 12 year old girls who get a job in a sweatshop in some third world pesthole quite often are saved from a life of something even more unpleasant like prostitution.

There was some plant in one of those countries a while back where the whiners succeeded in getting the wage raised and the kids axed and that WAS the fate of most of the kids. It was some Stossel piece I believe...

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Clothing retailer Gap Inc. (NYSE:GPS - news) said on Wednesday that forced labor, child labor, paying below minimum wage, physical punishment and coercion are some of the widespread workers' rights violations occurring at many of its factories worldwide.

Sounds like your kind of company!
