Brings the liberal hope of a Kerry-McCain ticket into sharp focus, don't it?

Nice post, newbie. ;-D
This article brings out some of my concerns about a Kerry candidacy. I'm actually expecting him to withdraw, citing health concerns, to leave the field open for dems to find a more electable, less "nuanced" guy. He could actually do this all the way up to election day.

I believe his cancer has returned. I am expecting him to put Hillary on his ticket with the full knowledge that if he is elected he will not survive even his first term.
To: JusticeTalion
Just the fact that he is so, how to say it.....hm......French looking. That should be a disqualifier.

Equally troubling, but virtually unnoted, is the Senators failure to release his medical records. Keep in mind, that Senator Kerry is a cancer survivor, having emerged from surgery to remove a cancerous prostate early last year. His surgeon has spoken publicly about the case, assuring the public that the operation went well, that the cancer had not spread, and that there is nothing to worry about. I think there is (at present) no reason to expect a reoccurrance of the cancer. It's pretty certain Hillary has carefully assessed Kerry's medical records. So if he goes into the election with a VP candidate never married to a former President, his survival chances look good.

Just like Clinton.

It's far too soon to say he's a cancer survivor, in my opinion.

It's far too soon to say he's a cancer survivor, in my opinion. I agree. I seem to remember reading that it takes five years to virtually guarantee no recurrence and that you aren't really a "survivor" until you get there.
I also agree sKerry's days are numbered. The Old Hildabeaste's got her finger in the wind.

I love these preposterous theories that even Kerry himself wants to be replaced by Hilary, or whoever. And now he's going to withdraw as late as election day? Oy.

When did Ketchup have cancer surgery?
To: JusticeTalion
Excellent points.
People need to demand that Kerry release ALL his medical records -- from Vietname, as well as his recent ones.

I've always thought he looked like Marfans Syndrome.
Tall, gaunt, extremely long fingers, bad hearts.
We all know his cardiac rhythm is off, Instead of lub,dub
his heart goes flip/flop.

Kerry could have been rendered impotent and incontinent from the surgery, and that wouldn't play well on the world stage.
