That Chris Matthews invoked it the other night as in "What about Flint?! What is this president going to do to bring it back?" as if all went downhill in 2001 was absurd. Flint? What about Bodie!!! What is Bush going to do about Bodie?

Terry Moran would twist it around to make it President Bush's fault that Kerrey and Hamilton left early. Sheesh.
And I thought it quite rude that they did leave early. They're on a very important commission for this nation's security, trying to find solutions, and they have "previous" commitments to talking to the President and VP of the US? Arghhhh.

"What the heck is the co-chair of the 9/11 commission doing meeting with the Prime Minister of Canada? Or does it have something to do with his real job as a lobbyist, or something?" That would certainly be worth checking into.
Why was it so important that he meet with the PM of Canada? Was he planning a Caribou hunting trip? Was he worried that no other Americans wanted to have lunch with Chretien? Very bizzare behavior. But then, it's a very bizarre commission.

(LBJ sent him to VN. Nixon expressed him home. And JfK's too dumb to tell them apart!)

I agree wholeheartedly, she is brilliant. She has degrees from both Stanford and Notre Dame, is personal friends with Tyrone Willingham (and I'm an ND Dad twice) - the fact that she works for the most moral President in recent memory doesn't surprise me at all! But we live in a society of forgetful people and just the fact that she "was forced to testify" - not her testimony at all - brands her as guilty of something - anything! - to a lot of sheeple...

To: Coop
Yes, they caught him, but let him go on the advice of Janet Reno.
