Why are we being treated so badly?

This rant had started out as a “ Why is everyone treating President Bush so badly” but more and more I got to thinking it’s not just the President that is getting slammed no matter what he does, but it is anyone who works with him and supports him.

I’m talking about his Cabinet, good people like Sec. Donald Rumsfeld, Dr. Condolezza Rice, Vice President Cheney, Colin Powell, And others who work for or with him and who have a firm faith and who’s values are moral and just.

Then there are his supporters and his friends, all have one way or the other been slammed at and all have been vilified like no time I have seen before. The vitriolic hatred and despicable lying sputtering of the Liberal Democrats is appalling!

Beware anyone who is a Christian and a Republican or, a big supporter of President Bush or any of the Republican candidates! It’s as if there is a civil (or should I say un-civil) war going on here. I mean, I have never witnessed such unchristian-like behavior. It’s as if Christianity and Republicanism were under fire.

If we are the party in power then why are these people on the left so into making us bow to their wishes? I mean why the double standard? Why do I feel I need permission to support who I want to support, worship in a church if my choosing and to sing praises to my God even in public if I want to?

Yet, while our rights are being cut by so-called political correctness, the left are getting off Scott free,

I just heard last night that now they are talking about outlawing saying Grace after meals in public. I DARE ANYONE to tell me I can’t say Thank You to God for the meal I’m about to eat!

THEY ARE GOING TOO FAR!

I BELIEVE ALL CHRISTIANS SHOULD START STANDING UP FOR THEIR RELIGIOUS RIGHTS!!!!

Then I am told by a bus-driver that everything that’s going on now in politics and national and international events is all about money and he lumps all politicians as greedy and shady. He told me that I am being brain-washed by the Republicans, (funny, I don’t feel that) I don’t recall anybody from the Republican coming to me and putting a gun to my head and forcing me to change my part affiliation.

I BELIEVE IT WAS MY CHOICE!

I laugh nervously whenever I hear Sean Hannity and others say we must “Hannitize” the vote, I.E. get people to register to vote and then get them to Vote for BUSH/CHENEY. Well, were I am, most of the people are really set in their ways and so Brainwashed by the liberal alphabet media, (their word is gospel) And if I try to say anything to try to let them see how they are being lied to by their precious media “gods” Then I’m trying to suppress their opinions. There is one woman were I work at who even said in the 2000 election she told her son, who was thinking of entering WestPoint to go instead to a non-military college if Bush were to win. I just shook my head in disbelief.

Then I was watching a news-clip of last week’s march on Washington, The pro-choice advocates were out in full force and saying such hateful things. Some signs really upset me. One proclaiming that Barbara Bush should have had an abortion and another saying Barabara Bush made the wrong choice. Then there were the signs vilifying the Pope. One even saying the Pope’s mother made the wrong choice, and she didn’t have a choice.

I BELIEVE BOTH WOMEN, IF GIVEN THE CHOICE WOULD CHOOSE TO HAVE THEIR BABIES!

AND I DON”T LIKE THE SUGGESTION THAT BOTH THE POPE AND PRESIDENT BUSH SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN BORN.

As for President Bush, I don’t like the way he’s being treated, being made to do things that no other president that I know of has had to do. Yet, he’s still being called a liar and stupid and (well you come up with an agetive used by the left against this good man).

I know I’ve said it before, but, I need to repeat it again, I am not a one-issue voter, though, I do look at a candidate based on his/her stance on the abortion issue. As a Catholic, I feel I have to take that into consideration. That doesn’t mean I have to be blind to other issues as I’ve seen others being. I really admire and RESPECT President Bush and others in his administration, as well as the leaders of the Republican Party, yes, even SOME in the Democrat party. For their strength and thier courage, their solidity in their beliefs and their faith.

Well, I guess I should make this short and write more on it later.

I have more to say.

Good thoughts, Pippin!

It's bothered me for a long time that the Left criticizes if the Right does something, but then goes ahead and does the same thing and protests if they're not allowed. And, if that doesn't work, they just go ahead and do whatever it is, just breaking the rules and heck with anyone who protests.

It IS a civil war, and it IS a war against Christians and Republicans. It's scary how some (many?) people have been brainwashed by the left. But you see, it's "easier" to be a Liberal. They have no boundaries, no rules, nothing to live up to. Just, if it feels good, do it. They're so threatened by Christians and Republicans because we see that there IS good and bad, there ARE things that should or should not be done . . . we do not see power and money as the ultimate goal in life, like they do.

I think it's positively sick and evil that people had those signs at the abortion rally. I just don't know what else to say about it.

Look, now you've made me rant too! It's nice to have a place where we can do so and not have to fight for every word we say against unprincipled people.

I'll look forward to your next rant!
