Watauga High School has not taken a position for or against homosexuality or for or against Christianity, Childers said. My job here is to focus on teaching and learning.
So they allowed the Gay activist THEIR signs but made the Christians take OFF their shirts!!!!! Sorry Childers, your actions do NOT match your words

Just get a t-shirt that quotes Leviticus. Then you can get kicked out of school, file a lawsuit, and the Supreme Court will have to actually protect religious freedom for a change.

Then you can get kicked out of school, file a lawsuit, and the Supreme Court will declare the Bible unconstitutional.

What's the phone number to this dumb ass school

As far as I am concerned, the school administration should lose their jobs over this.

The dress code prohibits the wearing of any clothing or emblems that are offensive to any race, religion, or gender. AS the younger kids head into "social studies" for a reading of "Heather has Two Mommies!"

I'm partly jesting, but very largely serious as well.

Folks...you may already be to late to recognize that the GOVERNMENT should NOT BE RUNNING SCHOOLS..
Children should go to the schools that will teach their children what the PARENTS WANT TAUGHT....
Private or church run schools are the ultimate answer..
FREE of ALL Government meddling - except perhaps to set general academic standards for certification..
And , each child placed in such a school, should receive exactly the same money amount the Government "Civil Servants" get to not teach a child in "public school".
End Government Schools -- for the most part, they have become state indoctrination camps....

Oh the irony! On a day of silence protesting the silencing of gays and lesbians, some kids who disagree with homosexuality are suspended for expressing their opinions. Now who's being silenced...

"High school principal Gary Childers said the observation was not endorsed, sponsored or initiated by the school or its faculty. He said three students were observed wearing cards announcing their participation, while perhaps 15 to 25 may have been participating in all."
Aren't principals supposed to be in control of their schools? Don't they have the final say about what goes on in their schools?
The principal could have gotten on the loudspeaker the day before and told the student body that the program was not being "endorsed or initiated by the school or its faculty," therefore it would be considered a disruption of the school day. But, I guess he didn't want to for whatever reason. Too bad he didn't have the guts to permit an opposing view. What a weasal.
Can someone tell me why Christian kids are still attending public schools like this one?
