We won Bryn Mawr 149-50. (smattering of applause, several hoots)
Complaining about 'wall street financiers' pouring money into race and 'flyers in church parking lots.'
It strikes me as a non-concession concession.
"I hope this does not ruin [this aides] reputation."
He thinks he lost.
And in 25 years watching politics, I've never seen anything like that. Very, very bizarre.

Arlen, the idea that you're a fiscal conservative is harder to believe than your single bullet theory.This nonsense was my main reservation in voting for Toomey. The Oswald theory is much stronger than the someone-on-the-grassy-knoll-visible-only-to-a-few-psychotics-did-it theory. And, agree with Specter or not, the Warren Comnmission was the last time Arlen took a strong unpopular stand on something.
