I am not familiar with this system. Do you mean radio, or did you see lights at the towers, or?

They were just testing their systems to verify that all are in good working order. Backups to backups to backups.

About the same, so sweet, no cussing, polite, gentle.
And in the old days when the Navy wore their uniforms on shore leave, wait for a chance to get behind them.
Grab that big collar on the uniform, twist it tight and walk them right out the door.
Works on old drunks also, they expect you to cry, yell and cuss, I used the 'Lady' for about 50 years.
Difficult pose for me, as I could always out cuss them, when I forgot that "I don't cuss".
LOL

No doubt your dreams were from the Lord.
Certainly have empathy for your sibling situation.
It seems to be almost always the case that those of us who have been most wronged are still the ones left with building any bridges that are built. Sigh.
Blessings and peace to you.

If I may dare ask,
How do you tell they are activated?
I was part of the HICOM net in Taipei when I was in the Navy.
