Parties for the President are informal, grassroots "parties" attended by supporters of President Bush with virtually no cost to the host or those in attendance and are not official Bush-Cheney '04 events. To comply with federal law, Parties for the President hosted at a person's home must be paid for by the person hosting the event and the cost cannot exceed $1,000. The person hosting the event cannot share the cost with others or ask others to help pay. A Party for the President hosted at a public location such as a restaurant requires that each person in attendance pay for the food or drink they consume to comply with federal law.

RonDog,
Here is an absolutely fantastic one-minute Bush campaign ad. A friend of mine sent the link to me in an email. It's safe and it is awesome. First I've seen it.

I tried to get invited to one, but he doesn't return my invite.

It sounds like Dick Cheney is the one who will be in the conference call since he said he will.

"He added, "This special guest will answer questions and deliver a political briefing on the progress of the campaign.""

Cheney will be answering questions, not just talking and hanging up???? Wow.

I am holding a Party for the President on the 29th of this month in Evansville, Indiana. It is apparently the only one in the area right now. I know Indiana is a "safe" state, but I had to do something to support President Bush.

The goal of the Bush campaign was 2004 parties. There are now over 2046 parties scheduled for the 29th. There are over 4000 parties scheduled altogether.

All Bush supporters are welcome. This will be a family-friendly, smoke-free, alcohol-free event.

The details can be found on the Bush web site (georgewbush.com). Or, if you like, send me a private e-mail and I will send you an invitation.
