"Gay Militia" Storms Christian Dinner in Calgary

Dear friends,

Last night, Saturday April 17, 2004, a fundraising dinner was held on my behalf at the Coast Plaza Hotel in Calgary, Alberta. This dinner was organized and hosted by the Concerned Christian Coalition. Author of the book, Christophia, Rev. Tristan Emmanuel and myself, were the guest speakers at this event.

When I arrived at the hotel, there were a few dozen protesters, picketing in front of the hotel brandishing signs and chanting their pro-homosexual mantras.

Half way through the event a dozen or more self-proclaiming "gay activists", calling themselves the "gay militia", stormed into our meeting room at the Coast Plaza Hotel and surrounded the podium in the middle of an amazing presentation by Rev. Tristan Emmanuel. Rev. Emmanuel's informative and passionate presentation just happened to be about "Christophobia" and the persecution of Christians in today's society.

While banging on the walls and pounding drumsticks together, these protestors cursed and yelled things like, "haters and gay power" etc etc. Many were even dressed in camouflaged military apparel with masks over their faces. On and on they went and marched around the room, swearing and yelling, making complete fools out of themselves. One of them approached a lady that attended our dinner and got right in her face. I stood there ready to defend my sister in Christ concerned that the protestor would become physically violent. Hotel management had to bring in additional staff and ask them to leave and when they would not, the police had to attend and remove them. From what I hear the hotel has pursued charges against this group. Praise God!!!

It was absolutely amazing to see our group pause and join hands in the midst of this criminal outburst and pray for those that were there persecuting us. Some of us would have loved to talk with these protestors but they were far too aggressive and immature to attempt such. Coincidentally, or most likely by divine providence, I happened to be sitting with a young man who I invited as my guest, who just happens to be a homosexual. He was shocked and angered by the actions of these people.

Please pray that our Lord would move the authorities to take legal action against this group as they would certainly do to us, if we acted out in such a manner and most importantly, pray that Canadian Christians would rise up against this threat.

Homosexual Agenda Ping + Homo-Nazi Alert (I'm allowed to use that phrase for this particular article.)

Read this and pass it on. This is one of the faces of homo-promotion. Some people think homosexuals are lady-like, effeminate, harmless little tinkerbells. Well, many of the Nazis - Storm Troopers, Brownshirts, were homosexual. They considered themselves "ubermensch" (did I get that spelled right?) -- ultramen, the ultimate in hard and violent masculinity.

Homosexual acts, according to Ayurveda and Chinese Traditional medicine, as well as Taoist teachers, cause psychosis, aggression, rage, anger, and violence. This is not a harmless variation of human sexuality.

We are witnessing a serious chapter in the history of the world. Do your part to turn this around! A civilization that rejects moral absolutes will become a vicious jungle in a short time.

I don't mind a good joke, and I'm only too aware that there are some appalling people in Canada, but in reality places like suburban Boston, the Bay Area, Portland OR, and Madison WI are farther left and more anti-American than anywhere in Canada.

I think we agree more than we disagree! Those who understand that there are basic moral absolutes have to not worry too much about the details. We need to save civilization from the barbarians. Later, we can have philosophical discussions, which I am looking forward to.

Unlikely if someone is in your face in an assault type of fashion. You can't just go stick your finger up someone's nose and expect them not to react.

I was near a McDonald's in Arlington, VA several years ago where a bunch of animal rights activists went thru and terrorized kids, moms, and everyone in the place by hurling things around.

Me: I would have been nice, smiled, asked one of them what their sneakers and belt were made out of, then told them to get lost before I kicked them in the balls. What are they gonna say, "but officer, we tried to trash the place peaceably, ..." Barbara Streisand! Not on my watch! Those people are so spun up it takes nothing to get them to react first.

This is ironic, reading this tonight. Just last night I was telling my husband that I'm having huge problems trying to respond to Muslims and other assorted haters in Christian love.

With every day that passes I find myself angrier and angrier with all this stuff going on. It's really difficult! Thanks for sharing and God's blessings on your group.

I'm not Canadian. Why some on this board want to bash Calgary is beyond me. Mighty close to home. We ought to lending our encouragement, not putting them down. I don't know if it is the last bastion of conservatism in Canada, as some claim, or not, but if it actually is, we Christian conservatives surely don't want to weaken the resolve of our fellow Christians.

I want to extend these fine folks in the gay milita an open invitation to attend the Democratic National Convention in Boston this summer. Please dress in your best uniforms and don't forget the skimasks. Come prepared to do your darndest inside and outside the convention. Yanks really, really need to have their consciousness raised about your cause and the gay militia seems like just the ones to do it. Your participation will really, really turn out the vote. As Dr. Keyes put it when speaking here in Oregon a few months it all started when we legalized killing babies and now look at where we are.

For any group to do this is cowardly and childish. I hope they get fined big time.

I am going to take my son to Peace Harmony in Eugene Oregon today it sits right across from U of O. He loves to sit outside the cafe's and watch the girls parade by. It's nice to have lunch for me as being outside his copius secretions via his trach that can spew across a room are not going to land in anyones meal so I can kick back as well.

Last time we went I called my friend and said Oh My God We Are In Berkley, as I knew it growing up in the Bay Area. I hung up and this Dude behind me says Like Dude you are in Eugene Oregon. I laughed.

So that is our entertainment factor when he has WheelChair fitting appts.

The young men are fun to watch too.
