I'm not the brightest star in the sky, so could you explain the simulation. To me it looks like three comets headed towards the sun. Is that the case, and if so are they as big as the one described in this thread?

ROFL! You just never stop, do you?

Hint: By the time the comet(s) cross the Earth's orbit in that picture, the Earth will have moved on to somewhere else.

Hint#2: Space, unlike your image, is 3D -- there's a *HUGE* amount of room for orbits to pass over/under each other, even if they look as if they "cross" on a flat plot like yours.

Hint#3: Although the Earth looks quite large on that (OUT OF SCALE) image, it would actually be a nearly invisible pinpoint if drawn to scale -- again, it's a lot easier for things to miss each other in the vastness of space than is implied by your drawing.
