Agreed! Where are the asinine reporters from the Bush speech last night asking her: 'How could you have prevented 9/11?????'

This is what we get when lawyers took over the government during Clinton's tenure. And nearly not enough of them have been purged. The thing I like most about Bush is his disdain for attorneys! Too bad the rest of the country doesn't realize how dangerous the imbalance in government is when lawyers are involved. NEVER VOTE FOR AN ATTORNEY!

This beggers the questions:
How was she selected for this committee?
Who put her name in the hat? Who signed off on her selection?
Why was she put forward? What was expected of her?
Why is the news media not lookig into this?

I was seriously wondering about this. Before Condi Rice testified I looked up the commision and who the members were. I was shocked to see a former Clinton deputy on the commission. I was thinking "I can't possibly be the first person to see this, so why don't I hear people yelling about it ??"

I called Mike Oxley's office (4th District, Ohio), too. His receptionist said she had only had a call or two about the 9/11 Commission - how's about a few of you calling his office, too?
Oxley carries a lot of clout in DC, and has shown he has a spine.

I agree, it's time to get tough with these "hollier than thou" Democrats. Enough is enough. Ms. Gorelick needs to be held accountable, instead of sitting there preening and passing judgement, when most of his mess should fall into her lap.
This entire 9-11 commission fiasco is enough to get your blood pressure out of control. Unbelievable.

The Landmark Legal Foundation, a conservative law firm, also has called on Gorelick to step down, citing the memo. YEAH!

It shouldn't be just this congressman. There should be a large group of Republicans not asking but demanding her resignation.

Been waiting to post this from another thread!
Get out yer tinfoil hats - I just thank up a thunk!
The Gorelick rules were meant to ensure that "no 'proactive' investigative efforts or technical coverages" of terrorist suspects be carried out on U.S. soil.
The Murrah Bldg in OK city was blown up on April 19, 1995.
Exactly what date in 1995 was that Gorelick memo published?

Kinda blows a hole the size of the Grand Canyon into this whole "Independent, Non-partisan" 9/11 Commission, eh? Yep, and Gorelick should resign. It's bad enough having Bin Veniste on the panel.
