Funny you don't see the pictures of the returning Iranians' coffins on the TV news. /sarcasm

RE:

"Why is the terrorist holding an M249(SAW)?? "

I noticed that too.

Probably for the same reason a lot of VC were (and probably still are) running around with M-16s and M-60s, etc.. - they took it off of one of our dead.

Or it may have been looted from one of the ambushed and sacked convoys.

Where IS the air cover for these convoys, anyway?
Did we sell all of our A-10 Thunderbolts for scrap, or what?
(I'd like to see them try to take on of those brutes down with an RPG!)

Has no one over there heard of a "Gun Truck"?

Do we have to learn the bloody, hard lessons of VietNam all over again?? (Apparently so.)

It looks in one of those pics of the looting mobs like an Iraqi "Policeman" joining right in on the pillage. That with apparent intel that Iran has been infiltrating the Iraqi Police, and I think we'd better be really careful around those dudes!

Hopefully and God Willing, that SAW will soon be returned to rightful custody, preferably from the cold, lifeless hands of it's temporary captor.

part of a bubble-shaped supernova

Here's to hoping Muqtada al-Sadr becomes plasma in a bullet shaped 2000 lb JDAM SUPERNOVA.

During the Kosovo bombing under Clinton, the US bombed from 15,000 feet, civilians be damned.

Yes, and under Clinton, Mogadishu happened.

That wasn't a SAW. It was Russian. Looks a lot like one at that angle though. Look at the carrying handle and the ammo box.

I guess these guys (Iraqis) don't understand patience, do they? Of course, their 'god' doesn't know the meaning of that word, so no surprise there! Talk about Americans being the instant gratification generation! I think that the 3rd world countries are much worse. If things don't turn to a bed of roses immmediately, it's seen as our inability to deliver...as if we haven't been trying to!
