Hi Dave. Would you believe that I have never yet had time to view my tapes? This has been one of the busiest two weeks I can recall. Had an unexpected visit from my daughter this week. Plus a meeting every day.

One day, just looking around at various things at FR, I saw the page that links old issues of this thread. Anyway, I noticed some state-themed ones, and sure enough there was my Michigan! The link to it is now on my profile page. (thanks to you and Billie) Is that okay? That must take a lot of work to put those together. :-)

Thank you, whirlwind. We normally have one of John Huang's essays every Thursday - always a treat - but his computer is on the blink so he didn't get one to us to post today. We do have a variety of topics each week - as dansy said, we have a regular Military Monday thread every week, and Thursdays are reserved for John's Two Cents, Fridays we post a T.G.I.F. thread that runs through Sunday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays threads may be serious, silly, sweet, pretty, or cute, but always fun. Hope you'll join us often. Let us know if you'd like a ping. :)
