Here's a shocker: Chris Matthews and Howard Fineman thought the president was STRONG and showed a lot of humility tonight.

When the first reporter asked if the President felt responsible for 9-11 I almost kicked my TV in!
It took the President several follow up questions to answer correctly, which was Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the 9-11.
Personally, I did not think he did that well! His opening statement was on target, he seemed to be hesitant on some of the questions.

Bush sucked. Nothing new, no leadership, no direction, no national unity, no patriotism, no rally for the troops, no nothing positive, only empty meaningless drivel.

He may be a good man, but he has no intelligence or spirit.

This lackluster (at best) speech may be Communism's (Kerry) ticket to the WH.

Isn't there anybody in America with an IQ over 90 who is Conservative and has enough money to be President?

Well, Bush certainly spoiled it for the liberal Washington press corps who came to make him squirm.

They were and are really upset that he didn't....in fact, it was one of the best Presidential press performances on record.

He made his extremely important points in spite of the biased questions.....I am impressed!

I am not FOX, CNN, or MSNBC, but IMHO this was one of Bush's finest hours. He showed compassion, strength, and unbelievable clarity in his mission to stay the course in the fight against terror.

Part of Bush's mission tonight was to send a message to Iraq, to our soldiers who fight, and to the families of those who have fallen that their sacrifice is not in vain. No one in their right mind should question his resolve again.

I got chills when Bush said freedom is not our gift to the world, it is the gift from the Almighty to the world. But it is our responsibility to help. (I don't remember his exact wording right now)

I am so very proud to call George W Bush my president and my American hero!

Did anybody else notice there was no applause after the briefing?

Were the rat reporters to dumb founded to applaud?

Listening to Imus this morning he has been all over David Gregory for asking such a stupid question during last nights press conference. Dave mentioned that he got a lot of nasty emails about his performance last night.

The next time the press asks The President for an apology for 9-11 he needs to stair the reporter in the eye, pause and say very defiantly; "The only person that should apologize for the tragedy of 9-11 is Osama Bin Laden, and since he is unlikely to so so, we will hold him solely responsible". "Next question please!"
