Freepers are well aware of how well the economy is doing. USA Today interviewed 56 economists TRYING to find one to say something bad about the economy. NOT ONE of them did because the economy is doing great.

This is a thread about the President's speech and press conference. If you come here and complain about your troubles, don't expect sympathy here. It doesn't mean that people don't care, it just seems inappropriate in this thread. So when people give you some good advice to buck up and move on, take it.

Life has ups and downs it is what you do with the downs that makes the caliber of a person. Yours is to blame others and sit and whine.... Not exactly the great American spirit talked so much about, nor one to applaud and emulate. What I admire are the ones who when looking at an impossible situation take themselves by the footstep's and create new better opportunities for themselves.
