Can you tell me what specific legislation or policy that Bush created, that didn't exist before he took office, that allows you to blame Bush?

Free trade. And pre-existing him doesn't give him an out. His support of it is directly responsible for this. Supporting it makes it his policy whether he put it in place or not. And he is planning on signing more legislation that extends far beyond Nafta. An opportunity to damage us further with even more of it. But more importantly, to disenfranchise Americans because they happen to be Americans and the companies don't want to pay American wages. They just want the American profits. It's no more complicated or simple than that.

Riddle me this Batman: If we do away with free trade, and other countries do the same, do you think "Americans" will have more, or less, jobs? Would we have a better standard of living, or worse?

Just because we don't make buggy whips anymore, and the earth shoe factory closed down, doesn't mean the government should close the trade borders. Instead of wallowing in self pity, make yourself marketable to a company or start your own business. But your selfishness is very ugly. What's best for the country may not be what's best for some small percentage of US citizens. That small percentage needs to adapt. If not, you'll find yourself very unhappy and wanting to blame someone else for your stubborness and unwillingness to change.

That's RIGHT! Let's not forget he tried to poison us all but putting more arsenic in the water!
