My husband and I went through hard times. He was a director of engineering for a large coal company in Indiana. The coal fields closed due to the economy, and we had to either look for other work here or move. We chose to stay.

My husband did some consulting, and took a succession of jobs with quarries and asphalt companies. Eventually, work dried up.

My husband eneded up loading mail at an airport, and I went to work at a catalogue company taking orders. We almost lost our home.

But now, my husband has a good job with a company who does civil engineering. I started an antique business. We are on our way to getting back on track.

Rather than dwelling on how unfair things are, look for how you can overcome.

I don't think Havoc wants advice or encouragement. She wants to blame others for what happened to her and to play the victim. Where has she been the last 10 years while millions of jobs have gone overseas for a multitude of reasons? She cares now cause it finally affected her.

I remember that...it was during the 2000 campaign and if you had a customer from Texas you'd comment on their governor who struck you as a good man. Good work!
