Last question is about have you FAILED in any way. WHAT is wrong with these democrat, political shill robots called the press. THROW UP!!!
No, President Bush, you don't have to learn to communicate better. What WE need to do is FORCE the media to change. It's beyond stupid, the questions they ask!

Your right, I think our President is doing an outstanding job tonight. The majority of the American Public are seeing first hand and recognizing what a bunch of partisan idiots the mainstream press are. I believe this W's performance at this Press Conference will help President Bush in the polls. It sure will shore up his base and address any doubts they may have had about the current state of affairs. It may sway some moderates.
I imagine that the Clinton Faithful aren't even tuned in to hear President Bush. They'll just read the soundbites from the Q&A where Bush is asked about "regrets". Those aren't damning quotes but they won't probe any deeper into what was discussed tonight.
With only 50% of the voting public VOTING, the election will all come down to who can motivate the supporters to go the polls.
John Kerry has been critical of the administration yet has not offered much in the way of the solutions. It is clear that the left believes that the "war on terror" is overstated while President Bush finds it to be THE MOST PRESSING MATTER OF THE DAY.
For all of the blame the media is trying to place on President Bush, he has certainly shown more action than other presidents did in this matter.
This IS WORLD WAR IV (World War III was the Cold War). President Bush said that Iraq is not THE war on terror but it is a BATTLE in the war on terror.
Vietnam and Korea weren't World War III but they were battles IN World War III. The arms race was a non-violent battle too.
Framing "Iraq" in this context makes it more apparent what is at stake.
If the left hadn't spent so much effort in claiming "imperialism" and "they just want to take the oil fields", there may not have been the need to push for a quick handover of Iraq to local rule.
I caught the speech a few minutes underway. The only thing I think that President Bush should have mentioned in this speech that he did not address was the situation after WWII transforming the nations of Japan and Germany into peaceful societies. Those people pledged to fight "to the last man". It did not take that and even kids who were teens in school who accepted that teaching did not hold to that view after the war ended.

"You said the the only mistake you made was trading Sammy Sosa"
From his expression you have to believe that he wanted to repeat that responnce but he he resisted him wise ass gene and struggled to give a more humble response.
These A**hole in the media do not have to deal with life and death the way he does. Like a physician, he needs to be confidant in his decisions and NEVER second guess himself. He ahs to sleep and shave afterall.

Sure is sad that reporters can't understand what the President says over and over. Don, you're a little thick there. Scratch that, Don you're dense as a fencepost.
To: radiohead
Last poll I read said 57% wanted more decisive action in Iraq.

New guy; Ass #14 from NPR - Did you fail as a communicator?
Answer #17 - "That's what elections are about." Says the election's about who will win the War on Terror and who can rebuild Iraq. "I'll speak as plainly as I can.... When I say something, I mean it."
To answer your e-mail, Bill Sammon, Jim Angle and Ann Compton were the 3 non-ass questions out of the 17 asked (though I easily could've put Compton's in the ass category).
