The media's going to have to check into Emergency after this briefing in order to have the flagpole removed from their colons!

Yeah, he turned that around on them big time. Yes he did...and we heard a genuine answer from a real leader.
May God bless you, Mr. President!
To: Rander7
Got it and thanks so much. :)

It is Pavlovian, what the media is attempting.
Once a leader has doubt, his followers MUST have doubt. A leader must have NO doubt, NO regrets, NO fear of failure. The media is trying to get Bush to create the doubt that they are unable to do on their own.
Bush is a leader, so they will fail. They know it too, because they get nuttier by the day.

Here is a great opportunity to ask the President substantive questions of policy, and all this Oprah-generation press corps can do is ask questions about admitting mistakes, failures, apologies, etc. Blecch. Bears repeating. The President is even coming up with his own question: "Is it possible to win a WOT?"
I'd like to ask him about Iran, Syria,....

I was thinking the same thing.

This press corp wouldn't know real leadership if it bit them in the a$$! They relate to filanderers and liars!
To: Dog
Bush is doing very well. Very impressive performance. "I believe strongly in the power of freedom." This part of the news conference is his best so far.
To: July 4th
"John Kerry tomorrow: "What about the other people who have lost their jobs?"
LOL. All America will be waiting to see what "studly" sports "costume" Kerry will wear tomorrow.

"Ann Compton asks a real question!"
You mean the same Ann Compton who described Condi Rice (in her testimony before 911) as
"Her eyes narrowed as she struggled to answer the Commission's questions."
What an idiot.
To: Havoc
Bite me, dude. I'm not paying outrageous wages so you can have two vacation homes and a boat, which was what the UAW members had in the 1970s when you guys priced our cars right off the map. Greedy SOBs. Not that the stupid mgt. people didn't contribute, but thank GOD for free trade so I'm not a "slave" of your inflated bogus wages. Now beat it.
