The President and his family spent Easter Sunday at the Chapel at Fort Hood and then visited soldiers at the Darnell Community Hospital.
President Bush held a joint press conference with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, at his ranch Monday, April 12, 2004 in Crawford, Texas, discussing Sharon's plans for the Gaza Strip, among other subjects.
The President left for the Waco airport shortly after the completion of the press conference, and flew home to the White House.
The President announced that he will hold a press conference in the White House, Tuesday night, at 8:20 PM EDT.

"manic competition to be seen engaged in as many "manly" athletic or sporting photo ops as possible." Did you ever once see him COMPETE in an athletic photo op? Ever see him play, for example, golf, tennis, handball,.....even throw a baseball?
I've only seen him on a ski slope and on a bicycle!
To: Howlin
Donahue from that Catholic league ? Really ? I read somewhere just recently that he and Teresa were married before the anullment was finalized.

LOL. Don't forget his "studly" motorcycle entrance on the Jay Leno show. Barf. There was that wussie attempt to throw a baseball and that pathetic fumble with the football. Its interesting, the only time I've ever seen him actually participating in any "team" sport was that one time when he showed up at a hockey rink. If I recall correctly, he didn't play the whole game, just long enough for some face time.

Well, it all gets kinda fuzzy cause his first wife wasn't catholic, she was episcopalian. I haven't read anything about her converting.

WOW!!!!
Those were some great pictures. Thank you for posting them all. I especially enjoyed the last batch. The one where he was blowing the kiss is just priceless.
I might have some good news after this weekend about a State Board position on the AZ College Republicans. I'll let you all know as soon as I find out.

You can get an annulment if the wife or husband isn't Catholic.

I'm so sorry to hear about FReeper Campy. I hope that her sister is able to find Jean from Idaho. Has she tried posting to the Idaho locale board? That might be helpful, and someone from Idaho might recognize the name.

Right. It is all a little convoluted and I may not have it exactly right but... you'd think anullment would be more difficult if the marriage produced children since that would seem to make them "ill-legitimate" but that isn't the case. They are considered legitimate offspring even when there is an anullment. At least that is my understanding. However, without an anullment neither Kerry nor Teresa would have bene able to receive communion in the catholic church.

From the linked article:
"and they wed in a Catholic church upon his return in 1970. Both were 26."
But I didn't think you could wed in a Catholic church, unless you converted?

***I was over on Kerry's website today having a discussion and apparently they didn't like the facts I posted because they pulled the thread :0)***
LOL! Good for you. I'm sure YOUR facts were both accurate and very convincing.

But I didn't think you could wed in a Catholic church, unless you converted? No .. you can wed, but you can not have a high mass said at the wedding and you have to promise to raise your children in the catholic teaching
With that said .. some parishes are more strict on church rules then others
