Lucy is NOT an hominid! If biologists want to place Lucy in the family Hominidae, they are free to do so. It is not a matter of right or wrong, only convention. If it were a matter of right or wrong, then you are wrong, because the current concensus does put her there.

Refresh my memory: do you know this? If they were to exhibit "Lucy" as she was found, exactly what fragments would they be exhibiting, and how far apart would they have to be exhibited?
