Whoa, there.

To err, is to make a mistake, a momentarary lapse of judgement. That is an err.

To knowingly rape children, to threaten them with hell and damnation if they tell their parents is NOT an error. To then pronounce parents as "liars" and "rumor mongers" for having the audacity to believe their children is NOT an error.

To harbor, protect and move these degenerates from congregation to congregation is NOT an error. That is an abombination. There is a really big difference between an err, and raping a child.

As human beings of a stripe, have you considered the Buddists? No wars, no forced conversions, and no raping. Don't make claims that you simply cannot back up. Priests raping young children is not a fad that was picked up in the 1980's and 90's. It's been going on for centuries. And it's also not limited to the USA.

When I see a 'Church' give annullments to somebody who has been married for nearly 20 years, with 2 children; simply because he has money, I will point it out. When I see a church that forbids birth control in countries too poor to sustain their population, I point that out. When I see a hierarchy of Church officials abuse the trust placed in them, by hiding predators, I will point that out.

I had no problem condemning the Rev. Jim Bakker, Rev. Jim Jones, Rev. Jimmy Swaggert, and the Rev. Jesse Jackson. Putting on fancy clothes and talking to a group of people about God on Sunday, and living a Christian life are two very different things.

You don't WANT to recognize the truth in the fact that they are HUMAN. They will err, (That is a proper term, a refrence to the famous line "To err is huiman....".) You want to hold them to the high standard set by Church doctrine BUT THEY ARE HUMAN. They will fall to Evil THEY ARE HUMAN,

You're saying that buddists have achieved human perfection!!? Don't make claims that not only can't be backed up but are beyond possability, Buddists ARE HUMAN.

All humans will err and continue to err until Hells Bell have frosted over and will call to the damned no more, in the church or out of the church.
