Well Mo1, I'm sure they will extend the same courtesy to President Bush and have him testify in secret. Yeah, right.

The 9/11 widows are already saying that the President should testify in public and under oath

Not one BLEEPING WORD ABOUT CLINTON

The bottom line is that this commission has to come up with the same results as the Congressinal Investigation. There is no way they can say we KNEW about this hit. What we do know is that we were hit SEVERAL times under Clinton including an attack on our soil. WHY? Because Clinton emboldened Usama. The slaps on the wrist didn't hurt Usama a bit.

Absolutely breathtaking.

I read the AP story earlier about Clinton and it was textbook sympathizing with him and presented the story in tones of assuring the reader that it was classified and private and he was fully forthcoming, so you, the public, don't worry as you can trust him. None of the outrageous rhetoric this current administration has to endure. The sly hints that the Bush administration is being deceitful and so on.

I have no problem with Clinton testafying to classified information privately as a matter of objective principle. But you just know he's helping craft the attack on the Bush people from behind the scenes.

I notice he didn't want to call attention to himself going before the committee either. My thought is he chose the timing knowing with the hoopla over Condi he'd slip in and slip out and the hyperventilating media would obligingly avert their eyes so as not to have to compare his meeting to the calls for Bush and Cheney to make public sworn testimony.

It's damned surreal. And today was about as bizarre as I've ever seen it.
