to be honest, many of them viewed the loss of their husbands more as a financial bonanza and a chance to "get on with their own lives". some cantor fitzgerald widows, who argued that because their husbands made 400K a year, that their compensation should maintain them in the lifestyle they had become accustomed to. for them, 9/11 was just a different form of a divorce.

Many 9-11 victim family members attempted to convert the tragedy of that fateful day into a monetary bonanza for themselves. OTOH, I know some people who are associated with WallSt and they tell me there were several widows they know of, who didn't get jacks**t from Cantor Fitzgerald following their husbands murders. It cuts both ways.
