33 meetings not 100, she really is very graceful as she roughs them up.

that dope Woodward! When will Washington stand-up to that guy and stop letting him "shake down" administrations for his "insider books" that are all based on self-serving leaks and intrigue.

I do so hope that the next question about Iraq and priorities that Condi remembers to mention that the Clinton administration signed the Iraqi Liberation Act which called for regime change.
(Off topic but Kerry on LKL after that legislation was signed called for boots on the ground to achieve regime change and even said we should go in unilaterally if we had to)

This really pisses me off. The White house gave them thousands of documents that they could quote from and they have to quote books that people made money off of! This is like some kind of tabloid hearing!

There sure is something special to the liberals need in protecting Saddam. I'm not certain which is more vital to the SOcialists: protecting Saddam, or their hatred of GWB.

Tim Roemer is the guy who hoists the book around. Hang on, you may see it yet.
Personally I can't wait to see Rice make Gorelick look like the idiot she is.

I'll turn over there to see when she's done.

Does anyone else think this will blowback bigtime to the rats because they dragged the war on terror and 9/11 back so prominently into the voter's imagination that they will more likely base their decision in the fall on who they think will better prosecute the war and protect them? Maybe they already had this data from focus groups and tried to use the Clarke campaign to torpedo it early. Too Bad. So Sad. Condi just evicerated Richard and did it with facts.
To: Darlin'
A lot of the people on that panel would have opposed pre 9-11 the same action they're saying now should've been done pre 9-11.
To: Jim Noble
"Gotta work.
How's she doing?"
I have to log off to work, too.
But she is doing superbly! Every sentence is filled with facts and information that, in a subtle way, criticizes the lack of effort by the previous administration.

HA! It takes more time when you don't have your people on board for some months - hello, Gore's election bs.
To: Darlin'
If I were Condi, I'd ask why they continue to ask questions about Iraq since this is a hearing about Septemeber 11th.

So far, she's doing great, she's refuting every question with actual facts, and refuting everything clarke lied about.
To: fml
Well, look at the time frame. 8 months....100 PC meetings?
I somehow doubt that. 33 is once per week.
