Guys, stay rational. She's pro Choice, as I recall. No such candidate will ever be nominated.
But what a week this is for RINOs. We won't nominate them, but they do their duty for the party. Our extremists need to remember that. We've seen her, McCain and Powell (fresh from cancer surgery) all stand up and defend the president in this difficult week while our ostensible true believing Congress critters were nowhere to be found.
There is a place at the table for RINOs. They do their duty for the party.

I have an older version, but it works great! I'm online and watching Condi in a resizable window!

She just slammed Torricelli without naming him.

The democRats see a black woman who is off the reservation. The media is wringing their hands because of this.
Freepers see a consumately competent individual.
A competent individual that tells the truth!

She says if anything would have prevented it would have been domestic surveillance but impediments prevented that,,,a boy to the Patriot act.

"I'm willing to bet that the networks cut away from her if they sense she is doing very well." Aha. Another Media-savvy Freeper gets it. You're right, Bonnie. That's one of the wonders of having the hearing start so early. None of the fraudcast networks have any regularly-scheduled programming at the moment other than their daily mourning shows, so it's easy to run it now. But at 10am EDT, all the syndy talk shows run on local affiliates, and that's a bread-and-butter income source for them. The nets don't particularly like to anger affiliates and cut off their revenue stream. So look for the fraudcast networks to find a way to bail right before 10AM EDT.

I don't know how conservative she is. I read an article on Dr. Rice some time ago saying she is pro-choice. As far as her job as National Security Advisor, I think she is smart and doing a fantastic job.

Nah . . . . Rice for NFL Commissioner - that's the job she REALLY wants. John Adams became a Massachusetts state rep job even though he said it would be the ruin of his family. If it looks like there's any chance Hillary or some other incompetent will get in, she'll take the job.

She'd be a great president but has always seemed to me to be too high strung and perhaps introverted to do the things required to get elected. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so because I love her.

"Structural and legal impediments" -- that should be the focus of this Commission, not the self-serving revisionist history of Richard Clarke.
To: YaYa123
She mentioned the legal and structural impediments to domestic info sharing pre 9-11. Are you listening Congress?
To: Darlin'
It looks like Bush/Rice considered Clarke part of the problem. It looks like Clarke was out of the loop. By design and by his own choice of not attending meetings.
Condi rocks.

My remarks about HDTV were because of the screen cap in post #200 which makes Dr Rice look large and wide-shouldered, not what I am seeing on my TV.
