Chris Matthew's brother is a HUGE SUPPORTER of President Bush!
During a visit last week to promote home ownership in Montgomery County, Pa., here's how Bush introduced Jim Matthews, chairman of the county commission and younger brother of MSNBC "Hardball" host Chris Matthews:
"Chairman, I'm glad you're here." Then the prez observed: "He is the smart brother." The crowd laughed.

Yes, that is true but.... much of the country is at work only the real diehards will have listened to the whole thing. Everyone else will get selected tidbits filtered through the left wing media.

God, please forgive me for my vileness toward those women. Don't be hard on yourself. The widows working with the commission are mainly interested in this commission making it look like Bush's fault. People who were interested in a full and fair hearing would not have been cheering on Benvenista. As such, they are doing a bad thing to the country simply because they are politically invested or blinded by pain.

You are definately not Italian. Remember the Godfather movie ? Remember how the oldest reacted and got himself killed ? Remember how the youngest son set things up and cleaned house methodically in one day ?
You would have us ghet ambushed at the toll booth. No thanks. We win by using our brains not by reacting.
To: Brytani
Of course they were warned, which is why Ted Olson, a ranking member of the Bush Administration, allowed his wife to fly that day, right? I wish someone would say that to them!

I think it was on Fox News this morning that I heard someone allude to Ashcroft being "out to lunch" on all this in the days leading up to 9/11. The Dems on this commission are looking for a scapegoat in the Bush Administration. So far they've struck out on those of the Bush Administration that have appeared. I'm sure you're right about them going after Ashcroft next. I hope the Attorney General mentions the fact that no one on either side during his confirmation hearings asked him any questions about terrorism or how he'd approach protecting this country.

She's not stupid. It's from the Dem playbook-- make up lies and say them straight-faced and repeat them. Viola! Truth!

There is only one thing to remember from this day. George W. Bush picked Condi Rice. George W. Bush got reelected TODAY.
What is so good about this, is that the 9/11 commission wanted to grill and fry Rice.
What they got instead, was a bunch of ground up rats on the floor!
